Hi! I want to share a simple, hands-on activity to practice reading CVC words. I was able to make these in about five minutes using the supplies below.
I only put three letters on each cup (you could easily do four). We practiced building different words by rotating one cup at a time. It’s great once you have a stack of various cups, so students can mix and match to build all sorts of CVC words!
I was able to capture a video of my four year old practicing with the cups (don’t mind my two year old in the background 😉
